Agape Foundation is a Non-Governmental Development Organization which commenced operations on January 17, 1994. Agape Foundations work span five thematic areas viz:
- Democracy & Good Governance,
- Education,
- Health (Health Policy & Financing, Adolescent & Reproductive Health, Malaria, HIV/AIDS & TB),
- Micro Credit & Sustainable Livelihoods and Gender & Human Rights.
We are eliciting applications from suitably qualified candidates to immediately fill in vacancies of a Programme Officer and Finance Officer.
PROGRAMME OFFICER (1 Nos).
Education: B.sc or its equivalent in Social Science, additional qualification is an added advantage and must be Computer Literate.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a Non-Governmental or similar development Organization.
Age: Not more than 40 years of age.
Salary Package: Negotiable.
Duties:
The Programmer Officer, Agape Foundation will among other duties do the followings.
♦ S/He initiates the development of fundable projects.
♦ S/He facilitates trainings.
◊ S/He organizes Campaigns and Advocacy.
◊ S/He ensures proper documentation of activities and timely delivery of reports to the Board and Donors.
♦ S/He prepares periodic/statutory report of activities and shares same promptly with internal/external stakeholders.
♦ S/He attends to other duties relevant to Agape Foundation.
FINANCE OFFICER (1 Nos).
Education: Bs.c or its equivalent in Accounting, additional qualification and Professional Certificate will be added advantage. Must be computer literate.
Work Experience: Not less than 3 years.
Age: Not more than 45years of age.
Salary Package: Negotiable
Duties:
The Finance officer will directly report to the Executive Director. S/He will supervise and Co-ordinate all the activities of the support staff in Finance and Supplies Department of Agape Foundation.
◊ S/He ensures that basic accounting records are properly maintained.
◊ S/He ensures that reconciliation of various accounts is properly and regularly carried out.
♦ S/He facilitates the preparation of project and Annual Budget.
♦ S/He prepares project and periodic financial reports in compliance with applicable regulations.
◊ S/He ensures that financial reports are ready as and at when due for project and annual audit exercise.
◊ S/He ensures that the accounting policy of the organization is adhered to.
♦ S/He performs any other duty incidental to smooth running of the group.
