Our upcoming ASSOCIATE NGO – MFI is a development organization created to support the active poor, young men & women including the middle aged who are active in trading; farming and partisanship but need some capital to improve on their trades.
We are looking for experienced hands in the under listed areas for immediate employment viz – Accountant, Branch Managers, Secretary, Credit Officers and Driver.

ACCOUNTANT (1 Nos). ASSOCIATE NGO
Education: Bs.c or its equivalent in Accounting, additional qualification and Professional Certificate will be added advantage. Must be computer literate.
Work Experience: Not less than 3 years in a Micro Finance Institution.
Age: Not more than 45years of age.
Salary Package: Negotiable
Duties:
The Accountant will directly report to the Executive Director. S/He will supervise the activities of the operations staff of the NGO /MFI.
♦ S/He ensures that basic accounting records are properly maintained.
♦ S/He ensures that reconciliation of various accounts is properly and regularly carried out.
◊ S/He facilitates the preparation of Annual & other Budgets.
◊ S/He prepares periodic financial reports in compliance with applicable regulations.
♦ S/He ensures that financial reports are ready as and at when due for annual audit exercise.
♦ S/He ensures that the accounting policy of the organization is adhered to.
◊ S/He performs any other job incidental to smooth running of the NGO/MFI.
BRANCH MANAGERS (2 Nos). ASSOCIATE NGO
Education: B.Sc or its equivalent in social sciences and must be Computer Literate.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years as Branch Manager in a Micro Finance Institution.
Age: Not more than 45 years.
Salary Package: Negotiable
Duties:
The Branch Manager is both the administrative and operational head of a branch. A branch comprises of some credit officers and the Branch Manager. Each branch is a profit center and is expected to identify clients, assess loan applications, disburse and fully recover loans as and at when due.
A Branch Manager has the following duties:
♦ S/He manages the day to day activities of Credit Officers in the Branch.
♦ S/He facilitates the development of operational guidelines
◊ S/He supervises and verifies the authentication of the entries made by the Credit Officers in daily collection sheet and bank payment on daily basis.
◊ S/He maintains the branch cash book on daily basis.
♦ S/He maintains the BM’s Register.
♦ S/He assesses and approves groups mobilized by Credit Officers.
◊ S/He assesses and recommends the approval of loan.
◊ S/He supervises loan disbursement.
♦ S/He assesses and recommends the approval of savings refund/withdrawals.
♦ S/He is responsible for the preparation of weekly, monthly and annual reports of the Branch.
◊ S/He reports directly to the Area Manager (AM).
SECRETARY (1No) ASSOCIATE NGO
Education: B.sc or its equivalent in Secretarial Administration, Office Technology etc. and must be computer literate.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years experience in same/similar position in a financial institution.
Age: Not more than 35 years of age.
Salary Package: Negotiable.
Duties:
S/He is the office manager and must be familiar with the following responsibilities.
♦ S/He maintains mail movement register.
♦ S/He maintains a functional file registry.
◊ S/He is responsible for articulating draft letters and memos for the Executive Director.
◊ S/He must have the capacity to arrange the office in a presentable manner at all times.
♦ S/He controls visitors to the Executive Director.
♦ S/He acts as the note taker/secretary in every meeting and develops minute with action points as and at when due.
◊ S/He arranges meetings with and for the Executive Director.
◊ S/He arranges travels and other official engagements of the Executive Director.
♦ S/He manages official correspondences of the Executive Director.
♦ S/He maintains imprest account as assigned by the Management.
◊ S/He performs any other duty assigned to him/her by the Executive Director or the Board.
CREDIT OFFICERS (10 Nos).
Education: OND, B.Sc or its equivalent.
Experience: Minimum of 1 year as Credit/Loan Officer in a Financial Institution.
Age: Not more than 35 years.
Salary Package: Negotiable.
Duties:
♦ S/He reports directly to the Branch Manager.
♦ S/He mobilizes groups for purposes of loan disbursement
◊ S/He keeps records of the groups under him or her.
◊ S/He collects cash (Loan repayments) from his or her groups and updates individual loan recipients Ledger.
♦ S/He hands over cash collected after being thoroughly checked to the Accountant.
♦ S/He facilitates and participates in the weekly operation meetings with his/her groups.
◊ S/He makes regular report covering his/her weekly operations to the Branch Manager.
◊ S/He does any other duty assigned to him or her by relevant authorities of Micro Finance Institution.
♦ S/He shall be responsible for the formation and registration of groups.
♦ S/He must collect his/her member’s weekly savings and loan repayment on meeting days and in a meeting place.
◊ S/He is responsible for maintenance of appropriate credit officer’s record books as and at when due.
◊ S/He must observe due diligence before loan disbursement.
♦ S/He must know the members shops and residence before loan disbursement.
♦ S/He must follow up on clients after loan disbursement to ensure that the credit is properly utilized and recovered.

DRIVERS (2 Nos).
Education: Minimum of FSLC with a valid driving license.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years.
Age: Not more than 35 years.
